Legal Counsel, Austin, TX
$250K base + $100K-$200K bonus, generous health, retirement and relocation benefits

Experience level is flexible—we care more about how you think than years of practice. Exceptional performance leads to rapidly increasing bonuses and equity ownership.

You'll handle all legal matters, including compliance. We want someone who reasons from first principles—not someone who copies "best practices" that can't be traced to actual law. You should have excellent business and legal judgment and be a fiduciary in the moral sense: maximizing investors' risk-adjusted returns is our north star.

You’ll also be critical in expanding our business operations and the role may evolve into primarily business/strategy.
